Child Day Care Contracts

Child Day Care (CDC) Contracts give state funds to child care programs that serve families in specific CT communities. These programs provide high-quality care, including:

  • Full-time (and limited part-time/wraparound) child care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
  • Before and after school care and summer care for school age children

Programs with Child Day Care Contracts:

  • Primarily serve working families who make under 75% of the State Median Income

  • Are either accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) or are a Head Start program

Families contribute to the cost of care based on a sliding fee schedule set by OEC.
