OEC contracts with child day care (CDC) programs to allow them to serve families who meet income eligibility guidelines. These programs provide high-quality care, including:
- Full-time (and limited part-time/wraparound) child care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Before and after school care and summer care for school age children
Programs with Child Day Care Contracts:
- Primarily serve working families who make under 75% of the State Median Income
- Are licensed by OEC
- Are either accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) or are a Head Start program
Families contribute to the cost of care based on a sliding fee schedule set by OEC.
