2020 Strategic Plan

Early Care and Education Action Plan

Birth to Three Performance Plans
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) mandates that each state submit a six-year performance plan. Go to the Birth to Three website to see the current plan.
Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) plans
The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) is a federal program that helps low income families pay for child care. In Connecticut, CCDF offers this funding through Care4Kids.

Connecticut Home Visiting Plan for Families with Young Children
Legislation passed in 2013 called for OEC to create recommendations on how to coordinate the state’s home visiting programs. OEC assembled a work group and developed a plan, which lays out clear action steps. Read the Home Visiting Plan.
